Taupo Language Centre was started about 16 years ago. Taupo is located in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand. It is easy to get there by plane, or by bus. There are no trains that go there. It is near a very large lake, river and is also near the mountains. So you can go skiiing, snowboarding, rafting, fishing, etc .
